How Does It Work?
01
Access Points
Using light touch on specific access points along the spine, we connect with your nervous system's natural healing pathways.
02
Release
Your body begins to release stored tension, trauma, and blockages at its own pace, in a safe and supported way.
03
Restore Flow
As blockages clear, energy and information flow freely again, allowing your body to heal, rebalance, and thrive.
What Is the Spinal Flow® Technique?
A gentle, science-based hands-on method that restores nervous system flow and supports natural healing.
The Spinal Flow® Technique, developed by Dr. Carli Axford, works with the spine and nervous system to release blockages and restore balance. Practitioners use the seven gateways of the spine and thirty-three access points to expand the Spinal Wave™ from the coccyx to the cranium, helping the body reconnect and heal naturally.
Sessions are gentle and non-manipulative, providing relief from pain, stress, headaches, fatigue, and other tension-related symptoms. Each session helps you feel more aligned, calm, and energized.

The 7 Gateways of the Spine
Each of the seven gateways corresponds to specific areas of the spine and life experiences. These gateways hold stories and stress patterns that reflect what the body has been through.
By connecting through these gateways, practitioners help clients release old stress and access new levels of wellbeing. Each gateway plays a unique role in restoring the natural rhythm of the body.
The 33 Access Points
The thirty-three access points along the spine are used to initiate and expand the Spinal Wave™. Each point communicates with the nervous system to help remove blockages and restore flow from the coccyx to the cranium.
Through light contact at these points, practitioners stimulate the body’s natural healing response and bring awareness back to what’s working well inside the system.
